Wedding photography blog of Kirby and Ryan

A rainy wedding day is not what Kirby & Ryan wanted exactly but it was fun for wedding photography – our beautiful couple, with the help of a big umbrella stayed mostly dry, we got soaked but didn’t mind at all, they are a great couple, were heaps of fun and we got some great shots.

Kirby made her preparations with her bridesmaids and mum – they all looked stunning – Kirby’s dad started the tears when he saw his beautiful daughter as a bride – he was so proud to walk her down the isle.

Ryan and his groomsmen were heaps of fun, clearly share a close friendship and all looked fantastic in their suits.

The wedding cars were 4 awesome vintage, brightly coloured muscle cars – 3 Torana’s and a Monaro – very cool.

The ceremony was in Bay View Park – a beautiful grassy hill overlooking The Sean River – the area had no shelter at all – and the rain was coming – it could have spelt disaster for the ceremony but a lovely person was watching the people arrive from their home across the street, saw it was a wedding, saw the rain and immediately came over with two portable gazebos for the couple to borrow – such a kind gesture to complete strangers and saved the day for the couple.

Even though it rained – it did not dampen the spirits of the bride and groom – they were happy and smiling all day – we spent some time in Fremantle for their bridal photography – under the old bridge and by the A Sheds markets on the wharf.

The reception was at Mosman’s Restaurant – a beautiful spot right on the river – looks so pretty at night with the glass walls overlooking the city, yachts and river lights.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Rempel – we wish you a long and happy marriage.
