Isabelle + Nathanael’s Caversham House wedding

Isabelle + Nathanael’s Caversham House wedding

What can we say, Isabelle + Nathanael’s Caversham House wedding day was awesome. Both sets of parents were just lovely, so excited to be celebrating this day with their children, a very big day as with traditional values and a strong faith, it truly was the day their children left home to begin their own new family, it was a bitter sweet occasion.

We started at the groom’s parent home bright and early to capture memories of their son preparing to marry the woman of his dreams, a woman they would today call their daughter – we left with a packed lunch from Mrs Gould (thank you) and headed to the bride’s parents home in the hills.

Isabelle’s parents were a little concerned as they were in the middle of massive renovations on their home, plus they had relatives staying there so there were not many ‘nice’ places for us to work – we are not phased by such things, we cleared away a wall next to a window with beautiful light flowing through and used that for most of our images. We have created some stunning images of Isabelle and very beautiful memories of her last time at home as a single lady.

The couple chose Caversham House in the Swan Valley for their wedding ceremony and reception, a stunning location perfect for wedding celebrations.

Their ceremony was on the grand staircase which has a truly romantic feel about it that all the girls love. It was lovely to witness this lovely young couple become husband and wife.

We stayed on the grounds of Caversham House for their bridal party photography, there really isn’t any need to go anywhere else, there are so many spots that are beautiful for photography, the beautiful manicured lawns, the gorgeous, formal flower beds, limestone staircase and walls and a concrete lined service tunnel that often has amazing light streaming through in the late afternoon.  Not to mention the driveway entrance which has a beautiful, almost magical feel. We like creating formal images, having fun with candid images and capturing the relationship between the couple and their bridal party.

Isabelle + Nathanael were blessed with an amazing sunset on their wedding day, we enjoyed watching them dance on the grass as the sun cast magnificent colours over the cloud filled sky.

The evening was enjoyed sharing a sumptuous meal with their family and friends, with some very funny and touching speeches, the cutting of a stunning wedding cake and sharing time with their family and closest friends.

All in all, it was a magical day from start to finish. Congratulations again Mr and Mrs Gould.

We’ve chosen a few of our favourite images from their wedding day and enhanced them, we do this for every image that goes into an album or is requested as a print. They appear below. They are sequenced to give you a little snippet into their joy filled day. We finish images in black & white as well as colour. Personally we love black & white images, they are so timeless.

Choosing favourite images from a wedding is really hard, there are usually several, but, if we had to pick one from this wedding, it would be the one of them dancing at sunset with the flock of birds flying overhead.

We hope you love our favourites as much as we do.
